 Hydeh Ghaffari, CPA, MBA - Senior Partner
 Hydeh received her degree in auditing from Tehran University, Iran. She received her Masters in Business Administration from Golden Gate University, San Francisco, California. She worked at one of the large accounting firms prior to starting this firm in 1991. Hydeh has over twenty-five years of experience in financial management for for-profit and nonprofit organizations and has been a CPA in the State of California since 1991. She taught at the University of San Francisco as adjunct faculty and continues teaching financial management workshops at CompassPoint for Nonprofits, as well as workshops on Cost Principles and OMB A-133 audits for Department of Housing and Urban Development employees and nonprofit organizations. Hydeh has served on several boards of nonprofit organizations.
While away from work, Hydeh enjoys running, yoga, tennis, skiing and most of all, spending as much time as possible with her family.
Genevieve Zaragoza, CPA - Managing Partner
 Gennie graduated with honors from Mills College, Oakland, California where she majored in Economics. Gennie joined the firm in 1995. Prior to joining the firm Gennie worked in the accounting department of a private elementary school. Gennie's concentration has been in the area of tax compliance for nonprofit organizations and compilation of financial statements. She has a solid knowledge of unrelated business income and issues related to maintaining nonprofit status as a public charity. Gennie is the technical reviewer on most audit engagements. Her even-natured approach to solving technical problems is an irreplaceable asset to our firm.
Away from the office, Gennie enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, music, reading and needlework.
